Don't mess with your locksmith 

A locksmith, who ran a 24-hour business, possibly in the kcmo area, gets a call to help a person who locked their keys in the car. After quickly performing the service and asking for payment, the customer exclaimed, "You already unlocked my door, so why should I pay you anything!" The customer, however, had not yet received the keys from the locksmith. The locksmith immediately tossed the keys back in, locked the door and closed it, then turned to leave. The customer cried out, "Uhm-wait! I'll pay you! I was just kidding!" as they pulled out their wallet. The locksmith, smiling, said, coolly, "That will be $80, up-front." to which the customer, shocked, retorted, "But you quoted me $40!" The locksmith calmly replied: "Absolutely. That was for the first time. Now you get to pay me another $40 for the second time." Du-oh! The lesson is obvious: don't mess with the guy holding the keys!
